John Landis · Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd), a successful Wall Street investor. Black Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy), a homeless man who dressed up as a disabled soldier and begged on the street in order to beg for food. Two people living in completely different worlds actually changed their destinies because of a bet. Louis worked in the company of Duke Randolph Mortimer Brothers and had a prominent position and favorable treatment. Billy accidentally entered a classy club during a police chase and met Louis. Louis handed him over to the police. Duke Mortimer's brothers, who witnessed the whole process, had different views on the matter. They actually exchanged their identities and statuses through a bet, and an absurd and uninhibited exchange of fates ensued. The film was nominated for Best Song at the 56th Academy Awards in 1984, Best Picture - Musical Comedy and Best Actor at the 41st Golden Globe Awards in 1984.
