Mike Cahill · On a calm night, a speeding car crashed into the happy life of music professor John (William Mapother). His wife, daughter and beautiful life were taken away by the underage girl Lorna (Brit Marling). This accident also dealt a huge blow to Lorna's soul. The sense of guilt made her live the lowest life, but she could never escape the condemnation of her soul. By chance, she meets John again and walks into John's hopeless life in the name of a cleaning staff. After getting along for a period of time, they gradually warmed each other's scarred hearts. At the same time, humans discovered a planet that is very similar to the earth, and another human being seems to live there. Is this hope or a beautiful dream? The film won the Special Jury Award at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
