Happy Winner [Film and TV Commentary]

It is said that the chance of winning the lottery is one in 19 million, which is smaller than the chance of being hit by a meteorite. However, when luck does come and the lottery wins the jackpot, the life of the happy winner turns into a nightmare. The film is composed of four separate stories, which tell the different stages of the winner's life, from the joy of happiness to the nightmare of a roller coaster-like experience. French director Maxime Govar is famous for his comedies. His first film "The Wrong Groom Married" won the Grand Prize at the Alpe Devez International Comedy Film Festival. This time he teamed up with new director Roman Joy to bring the audience a light-hearted, humorous and thought-provoking masterpiece, which tells us a simple and eternal truth - money does not necessarily make people happy.
