The Birth of Lies [Film and TV Commentary]

This is a world outside reality, where lies are not known at all. People work and live normally, but everything they say is the truth. A young man, Mark (Ricky Gervais), who had just experienced unemployment, lovelorn, and poverty, discovered the secret one day - he used a lie to increase the money in his account, but people who had never seen the lie completely believed him. After tasting the sweetness, Mark began to take advantage of this secret. He began to lie constantly to get whatever he wanted. As Mark's lies became more and more outrageous, more and more people believed him, making things more and more out of control. And Mark gradually discovers that facing the woman he loves, Jennifer (Jennifer Garner), using "the end of the world is coming" to trick her into bed is not what he wants. The only way to get love is still true...
