The Inventor

The film tells the story of a conflict between Leonardo da Vinci's (Fredley's) free thoughts and Pope Leo X's (Berry's), who sent the great inventor from Rome to the French court to get along with the more liberal but easily displeased Francois I, his sister Princess Margaret (Ridley), and his mother Louise of Savoy. Here he can conduct autonomous experiments, invent flying devices, build incredible machines and study the human body. With Princess Margaret on board, he also hopes to answer the ultimate question: What does it all mean? The film is expected to begin production in August 2021 and is scheduled to be released in spring 2023.
