The Day the Earth Stood Still 2008

One night, Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly), a professor of space microbiology who works at Princeton University, was taken away by the police and several mysterious figures. Along with her, she went to the Linwood Military Academy in New Jersey and countless top scientists in the industry. It turned out that while NASA was detecting outer space, it discovered that an unknown object was rapidly approaching the earth. Soon, an object shining with white light appeared over Manhattan and landed in the middle of the New York Park. People, scientists and the military surrounded it. After a while, an alien (Keanu Reeves) who is very similar to a human body and a tall robot appeared in front of humans. Rude human beings completely waste the kindness of alien visitors, and what kind of fate awaits human beings? This film is a remake of the 1951 science fiction film of the same name, and won the 2009 American Science Fiction and Horror Film Academy Award for Best Young Actor (Jaden Smith).
