In 1997, the Asian financial crisis swept through all countries like a storm. Company failures became commonplace, wealthy bosses fled and committed suicide, and ordinary people's lives became increasingly difficult. The building built by the father of the rich girl Boom (Thunyaphat Pattarateerachaicharoen) finally fell apart.
