Small Things Turn Big [Film and TV Commentary]

Dr. Charlie (David Schwimmer) has been in trouble recently. Not only did he lose his job at the university, but he also had no hope of getting his book published. In order not to become a burden to his family, Charlie found a job as a telemarketer, where he met his familiar colleague Garth (Simon Pegg). Garth tells Charlie about his plan to blackmail a priest who regularly browses pornographic websites. In order to let his family live a prosperous life, Charlie agreed to join. Together with Gus's one-night stand girlfriend Zhu Qi (Alice Eve), the three started this plan. The seemingly simple plan turns out to be self-defeating and increasingly deviates from the original purpose. More and more people are involved, and things get bigger and bigger. What's worse, Charlie discovers that there seems to be an ulterior secret hidden behind Gus and Zhu Qi, and the danger is gradually approaching Charlie. What will be the outcome...
