The protagonist is a middle-aged man named David Mann (Dennis Weaver), who was driving alone on an empty interstate highway that day. Then a large truck appeared and blocked David's path, and he overtook him unceremoniously. Then the two cars passed each other's car on the highway. At first, David angrily wanted to pass the other car and go ahead. Later, he found that the driver of the big truck was going crazy and wanted to kill him. He had no choice but to stop, freshen up at a roadside restaurant and prepare to continue on the road. He found the large, ghostly truck parked outside, and David didn't even know who the driver was. Then the big truck kept chasing David. He tried his best to get rid of the big truck, so he had to start a duel with the truck that followed him...
