The Mountain Has Eyes [Film and TV Commentary]

In order to celebrate their wedding anniversary, the old couple Bob Carter (played by Ted Levine) and Ethel (Katherine Quinlan) took their family on a long road trip across the border. I originally hoped to use this trip to enhance the relationship between family members, but the various frictions that occurred during the trip constantly tested the family. The journey gradually entered the long and deserted area. While camping at night, they were attacked by a group of monsters. It turned out that there was an abandoned base for the US military to develop nuclear weapons nearby. The nuclear experiment caused terrible harm to the people of a nearby village. Due to the nuclear radiation, the survivors became physically deformed and had bloodthirsty and violent temperaments. They ambush the family and brutally hunted them. The originally honest and cowardly son-in-law Davu Bukuwiski (played by Aaron Stanford) was determined to cheer up and make the strongest counterattack.
