Original Criminal [Film and TV Commentary]

On his daughter’s birthday, a middle-aged man named Wu Daxiu (played by Choi Min-sik) was suddenly kidnapped and disappeared by an unknown person on his way home drunk. For this reason, he was imprisoned in a mysterious private prison for no reason. Wu Daxiu, who unsuccessfully sought death, watched TV and ate fried dumplings for three meals every day. Through TV, he learned that his wife had been killed, his daughter's whereabouts were unknown, and he was even suspected of being the murderer. At this point, Wu Daxiu began to exercise, determined to take revenge, and spent 15 long years in prison. When Wu secretly dug through the wall, he was released one day and was able to see the light of day again. He desperately searched for the reason why he was kidnapped and imprisoned, and launched a crazy revenge plan.
