The Love of Migratory Birds

Chen Wanglai (played by Hu Huizhong)'s father (played by Han Su) runs a bookstore opposite the university and has accompanied countless students like migratory birds for decades. This bookstore has become a harbor for students’ souls, carrying rich knowledge and deep emotions. However, a construction company took a fancy to the Chen family's land and sent Ma Benyan to negotiate with Chen's father and try to persuade them to sell the land. However, Chen's father has always had reservations about this proposal, causing Chen Wanglai and Ma Benyan to become bitter enemies. In a chance encounter on a rainy day, Ma Benyan and Chen Wanglai got to know each other again, and feelings quietly developed between them. However, the construction company once again came to Chen's house to lobby. Mr. Chen tried to stop the other party with a high price, but to his surprise, the company's senior management agreed to the high price. Amid everyone's consternation, Mr. Chen couldn't bear to give up his deep friendship with his students, and finally decided to break the contract.
