The true story of wanting banana love in the middle of the night

The story takes place in Hokkaido in 1994. Luye Yasaki (played by Hiroshi Oizumi) suffers from a rare muscular dystrophy, and only his head and hands can move throughout his body. But even so, Luye still longs for a free life. He arbitrarily decided to leave the prison-like place of the hospital. With the help of a large number of volunteers, Luye was able to live an ideal, unfettered life. However, he seemed a little too unrestrained, so he would always make outrageous requests like "I want to eat bananas in the middle of the night." Tanaka (played by Haruma Miura) is one of the many volunteers responsible for taking care of Luye. The willful and casual Luye makes him very headache. One day, Tanaka's girlfriend Misaki (played by Takahata Mitsuki) came to Luye's house to visit, and Luye fell in love with her at first sight.
