The End of Happiness [Film and TV Commentary]

In order to fulfill his father's wish, Victor (Tom Hanks) took a plane from his home country to JFK Airport in the United States, but something dramatic happened: he was informed that a coup had occurred in his home country, and his ID card and passport became invalid one by one, and his visa could no longer be used. Victor was in a dilemma and could only stay at the airport, waiting for the application of new documents. However, he waited at the airport for nine months. During these nine months, he used the airport bathroom to wash up and slept in the waiting room. He had learned to adapt to local conditions, took care of his own life at the airport, and even found a job at a construction site. However, Victor's sloppiness has aroused the dissatisfaction of the airport director Frank (Stanley Tucci). What may make him even more angry and jealous is that the beautiful flight attendant Emilia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) fell in love with Victor.
