Brand of Lies [Film and TV Commentary]

Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen), who has just divorced his wife, currently works in a nursery. He is kind-hearted and gentle, and he is quickly loved by his colleagues and children. Among them, a precocious girl named Kara (Annika Wedderkopp) is particularly close to Lucas. Faced with the girl's naive and simple overtures, Lucas could only politely refuse. But what he didn't expect was that this move would push his life to the forefront. Carla's retaliatory lies made Lucas accused of sexually assaulting a girl. For a time, this good gentleman became the object of exclusion and oppression in the entire town. The anger of his friends, the distrust of his ex-wife, the death of his pet dog and the malice of strangers made Lucas almost collapse. But when little Carla revealed the truth, the malice did not end with Lucas regaining his innocence.
