Lotto Battle [Film and TV Commentary]

Qian Yu (played by Go Kyung-pyo), a soldier who is about to retire, has been stationed at the border between South Korea and North Korea. By chance, he picked up an unowned lottery ticket. What Qian Yu did not expect was that this lottery ticket actually won the first prize. Qian Yu, who couldn't hide the matter, quickly told his colleagues about the lottery ticket, but the excitement did not last long. During a mission, a gust of wind blew the lottery ticket towards the North, and was picked up by a North Korean soldier Rong Hao (played by Li Yigeng). Qian Yu would not give up the huge bonus that he finally got so easily, so he tried every means and finally got in touch with Rong Hao. Rong Hao was in North Korea and could not cash in the lottery ticket, so he proposed to share the bonus with Qian Yu before returning the lottery ticket to Qian Yu and his party. In order to prevent Qian Yu from running away with the lottery ticket, Rong Hao and Qian Yu exchanged identities. Rong Hao pretended to be Qian Yu and went to South Korea to claim the prize, while Qian Yu had to stay in North Korea in place of Rong Hao and wait for news of his return.
