Thank You for Smoking [Film and TV Commentary]

Nick (Aaron Eckhart) ) is the spokesperson for the tobacco industry, the most profitable and controversial industry in the world. Not only does he have to use his sharp tongue like a salesman to persuade people to smoke every day, but he also has to find new ways to deal with the protests of anti-smoking groups, environmental groups and scientific groups, and try his best to seek the best interests of the tobacco industry in the government and senators. Nick also has two close friends-Polly (Maria Bello), who speaks for the wine industry, and Bobby (David Koechner), who speaks for the arms industry. The same industry nature makes the three of them close friends who talk about everything. They often exchange tips on how to deal with protests from various groups such as environmental groups and how to deal with the government and senators.
