Citizen Gangster [Film and TV Commentary]

The film tells the story of a kind-hearted veterinarian who experienced World War II who became a bank robber. In the post-war context, Eddie Boyd's dream of becoming a star in Hollywood ran counter to the demands of caring for his young family. So he discovers a way to do both at the same time - robbing banks Hollywood style, but his ideas lead him down a dangerous and tragic path.
