The story takes place on a colonial spaceship called the "Covenant" / which carries two thousand sleeping colonists. Their destination is the distant planet Omega Six / hoping to establish a new home there. An accident caused damage to the Covenant's energy-collecting sail / and captain Branson (James Franco) also died unfortunately. As acting captain / Orang (Billy Crudup) led a frightened and sad crew to land on an unknown and mysterious planet. Here / they met the android David (Michael Fassbender). David enthusiastically accepted the arrival of humans and told about his experience living here with the late Dr. Shaw (Noomi Rapace).
