The Evil Spirit Festival [Film and TV Commentary]

Located in a village in the Isaan region of Thailand, it is a place rarely touched by modern civilization. A documentary team came here, hoping to record the inheritance of the patron saint of a certain shaman family. The protagonist being photographed is named Nim (played by Sani Utoma), and her family believes in the god Bayan. Although he is the third generation shaman chosen by the Bayan God, this position should have been held by Nim's sister Noi (SIRANI YANKITTIKAN). But Noi couldn't bear the pain and tried every means to let his sister replace him, and she converted to Christianity and lived an ordinary life. After many years, the Bayan God seems to have locked the candidate of the next shaman on Noi's beautiful daughter Min (played by Narela Coulmon Kolpet).
