Love Comes in the Spring [Film and TV Commentary]

Marty (Katherine Heigl)'s lover lost his life in an accident. Carrying his lover's child, Marty didn't know where to go with his future life. At this time, a man named Clark (Dale Midkiff) appears in front of Marty. He proposed to Marty on the grounds of finding a mother for his child, and promised to pay Marty's travel expenses back to the city in the next spring. Forced to make a living, Marty agreed. Fortunately, Clark is a gentleman who treats Marty with courtesy and will never do anything inappropriate. But Clark's daughter was not like her father. She had a strong rejection of the "mother" who appeared out of thin air. As time passed, Marty's gentleness and cheerfulness gradually resolved the ice between her and her stepdaughter.
