Big Tiger [Film and TV Commentary]

It tells the story of Cheon Man-deok, the last tiger in North Korea and the most outstanding catcher during the Japanese occupation. The famous catcher Cheon Man-deok played by Choi Min-sik is a figure needed to hunt the big tiger, but he had put down his gun long ago and guarded Jirisan Mountain with the tiger. The captain of the tiger hunting team played by Jung Wanzik must risk his life to hunt tigers because of the orders of the Japanese army. Kim Sang-ho plays the role of Qikyu, a catcher who has feelings for Cheon Man-deok and his son. Partnering with Choi Min-sik to play the role of father and son is Sung Yoo-bin, who played Jo In-sung's boyhood in "It's Okay, It's Love" and also participated in the movie "Hide and Seek". "Mobius" heroines Lee Eun-woo and Choi Min-sik star as husband and wife. Hyun Sung Min, who has appeared in "Daughter", plays Qi Jiu's daughter. Japanese actor Ren Osugi will play the role of a senior Japanese official who wants to bring North Korea's last tiger back to Japan in glory, so he issues a tiger hunting mission. Zheng Xiyuan will play the Japanese officer who leads the tiger hunting team, and Luo Meilan will play Qijiu's wife. Jin Hongbo plays Qian Mande's friend who is a medicinal herb dealer. Wu Zhengguo and Park In-soo, who starred in Yanbian gangsters in "New World" directed by Park Hoon-jung, starred in the tiger hunting team.
