In China two thousand years ago, the King of Qin was tyrannical and the princes revolted. Outside the bloody battlefield, there are city-states built deep in the dense forest. Xiang Yu (played by Daniel Wu) and Liu Bang (played by Liu Ye), two uprising leaders against the tyranny of Qin, led their respective forces to fight for freedom and happiness.
