Weisi [Film and TV Commentary]

Hashimoto Yoshiharu (Yosuke Eguchi), a scientist with a disabled leg, led a scientific team (Big S, Chen Bolin, etc.) to invent the "Mengjie Sponge" and captured the ghost of a thirteen-year-old boy. In order to find out the cause of the boy's death so that he could become a similar ghost after his death, Hashimoto Yoshiharu asked the detective Ye Qidong (Zhang Zhen) with extraordinary abilities to track the released boy. Eventually, Ye Qidong discovered that the boy was killed by his biological mother. Later, Ye Qidong saw a thin thread between the boy's eyes, which seemed to be connected to some mysterious power. The members of the scientific team were afraid that the boy would hurt them, so they isolated and detained him again.
