Insomnia [Film and TV Commentary]

Lin Xijia (played by Huang Qiusheng), a professor at the famous university medical school, specializes in researching ways for humans to stay awake for long periods of time. One day, her ex-girlfriend Qiu Mengxi (played by Wu Lixuan) suddenly appears asking for help. It turns out that all her family members suffer from insomnia. When the disease reaches the final stage, the patients will fall into a state of abnormality and become extremely aggressive! In order to explore the truth, Lin Xijia began a series of horrific experiments: sneaking into the morgue to steal the patient's brain, and putting Qiu Mengxi under house arrest in a secret room to study the relationship between sleep and brain proteins... As the experiment deepens, strange things keep happening to Qiu Mengxi; even the Lin Xi family seems to be infected, and the desire to eat human flesh begins to appear in their hearts...
