Tom Ripley is a con man scraping by in New York in the early 1960s. A wealthy man hired him to travel to Italy to persuade his wandering son to return home. Tom accepts the job and takes his first steps into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder. The limited series is based on Patricia Highsmith's best-selling novel "Tom Ripley." Andrew Scott plays Tom Ripley; Dakota Fanning plays Maggie Sherwood; Johnny Flynn plays Dickie Greenleaf.
