Cold Case Code 1: The Woman in the Cage

The shrewd and capable Merritt (played by Sonja Richter) is a member of Congress. She lives a nine-to-five life every day and never thought that she would be targeted by an evil kidnapper. What's worse is that this weird kidnapper does not ask for ransom, but keeps asking Merritt a question. As long as the question is answered correctly, Merritt will be free. However, this is a difficult question that Merritt has never been able to answer. In this way, Merritt has been staying in a dark and cold prison, facing the threat of death at any time. When everyone in the outside world believed that she would no longer survive and gave up hope of finding and rescuing her, only Carl (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) firmly believed that Merritt was still waiting for him in a corner of the world. In order to find Merritt, Carl began his own investigation.
