The headstrong university lecturer Isha (Nuri Bilge Ceylan) and his wife Baha (Ebru Ceylan), a television producer, are on vacation in the pleasant seaside town of Kas, but the couple's emotions are completely out of tune here. For some reason, they had a fierce quarrel, and Isha even left his wife and returned to Istanbul alone. In the days when they were separated in two places, Isha and his former girlfriend (Nazan Kesal) relived their old dreams. However, he did not indulge in it, but gradually realized the preciousness of his wife. He decided to set off to find Baja... The film won four awards including Best Director, Best Editing, Best Sound Effects and Best Supporting Actress (Nazan Kirilmis) at the 2006 Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival in Turkey; the International Film Critics FIPRESCI Award at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival; Turkey's Best Film of the Year and the People's Choice Award at the 2007 Istanbul International Film Festival.
