Escape from the Mountain

Li Dongyang and Liu Qiuye are a pair of lovers. They encountered violent debt collection because they were unable to repay their online loans. They fled to Dazhu Mountain. After being introduced by Lao Quan, Wang Dazhu, an older bachelor in the village, the two discussed a fake marriage to defraud the bride price to repay the online loan. Li Dongyang escaped from Dazhu Mountain with the betrothal gift. Liu Qiuye escaped and was captured by Wang Dazhu's men. He was imprisoned at home and suffered humiliation. During this period, Li Dongyang failed to rescue Liu Qiuye and was severely beaten by Wang Dazhu and Wang Fugui.
