Scandal Notes

Sheba Hart (played by Cate Blanchett) is a new art teacher in the school. She is young, beautiful, and elegant. Old teacher Barbara (Judi Dench) quietly pays attention to Xiba and gradually becomes a good friend of Xiba. Sheba regards Barbara as a close friend, confiding to her the boredom of her elderly husband, the rebelliousness of her daughter and the imbecility of her son. The two women formed a seemingly warm and harmonious friendship. Inadvertently, Barbara discovered Xiba's unfaithful relationship with her student. She forced Xiba to admit the adultery and promised to keep it a secret. But the friendship between the two soured. Barbara, the secret keeper, becomes more and more possessive of Shiba, who succumbs to the threat of her secret being revealed time and time again. However, the secret will eventually be leaked one day, and the keeper's meticulous diary suddenly turns into a notebook full of scandals.
