Legend of the Strings

The one-eyed boy Kubo (voiced by Art Parkinson Art Parkinson) lives a life of dependence on his frail mother. During the day, Kubo made money by telling villagers wonderful stories about strange powers and chaotic gods. As soon as it got dark, he had to return home to take care of his mother. One day, Kubo came home late. The evil sister (voiced by Rooney Mara) who once took away one of Kubo's eyes came to Kubo's house and attempted to take away his other eye. In the melee, Kubo's mother died, and Kubo, who narrowly escaped death, was forced to leave the village and go into exile. Kubo learns that before his father died, he left behind a pair of armor that could protect Kubo from the evil sisters and his father, Luna (voiced by Ralph Fiennes), and decides to set out to find it. On the way, Kubo encounters the amnesia wizard Beetle (voiced by Matthew McConaughey), and Beetle also joins Kubo's team.
