A Stolen Life

The disappearance of his son Tommy (Ty Panitz) plunged Sheriff Tom (Jon Hamm) into grief and self-blame. In order to ease the pain of losing his son, he could only devote himself to his busy work. The discovery of a boy's body made Tom's heart drop to his throat. After investigation and identification, it was found that the boy had been dead for 50 years and was not Tommy. This result makes Tom both happy and sad. He is happy that the body is not Tommy, but sad that Tommy's life and death are still unknown. Tom voluntarily took over this difficult case. As the investigation deepened, the figures of a man named Matthew (Josh Lucas) and Matthew's son John (Jimmy Bennett) surfaced. What shocked Tom was that the case he was investigating was surprisingly similar to the misfortune that happened to him.
