Pooja Kumar Nirupama (played by Kamal Hassan) stayed in the United States through a loveless marriage. Her husband was Wissam (played by Kamal Hassan), who was much older than her. After obtaining permanent residence in the United States, Nirupama began to work hard, and finally got her wish and got the coveted doctorate. A marriage without love is doomed to be fragile.
