"Marvinco" is adapted from the 2010 documentary of the same name, telling the true story of Mark Hogancamp. After being violently beaten by five teenagers, this man fell into a coma for nine days. When he woke up, he lost his memory. He could not remember anything about his life, friends or family. As a special form of therapy, Mark Hogancamp began using 1:6 model dolls to create a Belgian town during World War II in his backyard. He called it "Marwencol" (Marwencol). He used the dolls to represent himself, his friends, and those who beat him. "Marvin Cole" tinkered with Mark Hogancamp's mind to a certain extent, and it also allowed him to create a fantasy world. And this world can be seen by more people through Jeff Malmberg's documentary released in 2010.
