The film is adapted from Zheng Zhi's original novel "Wang Jinjin I Lost Twice". In the summer of 2010, in the college entrance examination hall, Bai Xiaoyu (played by Tan Jianci) met Wang Jinjin (played by Zhang Jingyi) for the first time and "lost" her. Four years later, they unexpectedly reunited in the crowd of job seekers during the graduation season and fell in love.
