In Los Angeles, Japanese trading companies are negotiating with the United States to introduce the latest electronic technology. In order to succeed, the Japanese side uses surveillance systems and lip-reading technology... That night, a murder occurred in the Japanese trading company building, and a white woman died in the conference room. Detective Webber (Wesley Snipes) is ordered to investigate the case. The top sends suspended John Connor (Sean Connery) to assist Webber because Connor has worked in Japan for many years and knows how to deal with the Japanese.
