The Taste of Success

Hansek (played by Burt Lancaster) is a well-known newspaper columnist. His experienced qualifications give him a lot of connections and resources in his hands. Susan (Susan Harrison) is Hanseck's sister. One day, she fell in love with a jazz musician named Steve (Martin Milner). Hanseck looked down upon Steve and felt that he had favored Susan. Therefore, the arrogant Hanseck decided to use all means to separate the two. Hansek found a Manhattan news agent named Sidney (Tony Curtis) and used means to force Sidney to become his "accomplice." Under the design of the two, a rift appeared in the relationship between Susan and Steve, and the two eventually broke up. However, the narrow-minded Hansek was not willing to let Steve go, but instead intensified his efforts to completely destroy the young man.
