Night Watch

The film is adapted from "The Night Watch", the first part of Sergey Lukoyanenko's trilogy. The armies of light and the armies of darkness signed a one-thousand-year war-free pact. A thousand years later, the leaders of the two armies Geshel (Vladimir Menshov) and Zaulon (Victor Verzhebindski Valeri Zolotukhin) live in today's Moscow. The Night Watchman tracks the alien forces of darkness and maintains the balance between good and evil; while the Day Watcher monitors the activities of the forces of light. Once the balance between good and evil is out of balance, it will cause war, revolution, destruction and even disasters around the world. Rookie night watchman Anton Grozecki (played by Konstantin Khabenskiy) is monitoring the vampire Kostya (played by Aleksey Chadov). The little boy Yegor appears.
