The Miracle of the Crybaby

Matsuda Ryuhei and Noda Yojiro will star in [Crying Bugs しょったんのmiracle]. The film is adapted from the autobiographical novel of the same name by chess player Seikawa Seiji. It tells the story of office worker Segawa (played by Matsuda) who challenges to become a professional chess player. Noda plays the role of the actor's friend. This film is directed by Toyoda Toshihiro. This is the second collaboration between him and Matsuda Ryuhei after films such as "Blue Youth" and "Escape 9". The film will be released in Japan in 2018.
