Shore Trip

The piano teacher Mizuki (played by Eri Fukatsu) who lives alone once had a happy and carefree life, but since her husband Yusuke Yabuuchi (played by Tadanobu Asano) three years ago (played by) disappeared, everything changed. One night, Mizuki was about to make food when he suddenly saw Yusuke walking in from outside. The next words surprised her even more. It turned out that her husband, who was a dentist three years ago, was diagnosed with a terminal illness. He ran away from home quietly, looking for a quiet place to die peacefully. A certain obsession made him appear in the world in a living form, and he returned home after three years of trekking. At Yusuke's suggestion, the dubious Mizuki and her husband embarked on a journey to find their home in the past three years. On the way, they met someone who had taken care of her husband. The secrets in the couple's hearts alternately emerged, and they were finally able to face each other calmly... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name serialized by Yumoto Kōki in "Literary World" in 2009.
