The Devil Ripley

This film is the sequel to "The Talented Mr. Ripley". In the previous episode, Ripley (played by John Malkovich) relied on his intelligence to transform from an unknown poor boy into a wealthy tycoon. After marrying his pianist wife Louisa (played by Chiara Caselli), Ripley returned to a quiet life. However, his cunning and ambition have never changed. When he learned that the craftsman Jonathan (Dougray Scott) was talking behind his back, the flames of revenge burned in Ripley's heart. When Ripley's friend asked Ripley to help him kill a competitor, Ripley thought of Jonathan, and Jonathan, who was financially strapped, could not resist the temptation of the high reward. Ripley's behavior was obviously the main reason for Jonathan's death. Even though he was able to escape the law, he could not escape the condemnation of his conscience. Looking at the back of his beloved wife, Ripley felt mixed emotions in his heart.
