Itaewon Murder Case

At around 10 pm on April 3, 1997, college student Cho Jong-bi was brutally murdered in the toilet of a fast food restaurant in Itaewon, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea. The scene was horrific. Zhao was the only son in the family and was a humble and polite person. His departure was a huge blow to the family. After careful investigation, the police finally targeted the witnesses at the scene, Korean-American Pierson (played by Jang Geun-suk) and Korean-American Alex (played by Shin Sung-hwan). The two unruly young men initially denied the crime, then accused each other of being the real murderer, and each stated exactly the opposite case. Police officer Park Tae-seok (played by Jung Jin-young) who was in charge of the case tried his best, but could never get close to the truth, and the investigation fell into a stalemate. Interrogation after interrogation, court after court, can the real murderer finally emerge? This film is adapted from real events.
