Kate and Humphrey and their 3 children (Stinky, Claudette and Runt) They were happily preparing to celebrate their first winter together, but their youngest cub, Runt, mysteriously disappeared. Now, they must embark on a new journey across the wilderness to find and bring back Runt before heavy snow blocks the road.
