Randall Park will serve as director for the first time, directing Roadside View Pictures' new film "Short Board". The film is adapted from the comic book of the same name created by Adrian Tomien, who will also write the script for the film. The original comic focuses on three young Asian-American urbanites in the San Francisco Bay Area - Ben Tanaka, Miko Hayashi and Alice Kim. They navigate a series of interpersonal relationships and travel across the United States in search of ideal emotional resonance. Set in cafes, bars and bedrooms, their stories collide and interweave with raw candor and razor-sharp humour.
