Burning the Red Lotus Temple

During the Qing Dynasty, the Shaolin Temple plotted to rebel against the Qing Dynasty and restore the Ming Dynasty, but was destroyed by the Qing soldiers. The Shaolin disciples were scattered, and the Qing court eagles and dogs were in hot pursuit... Shaolin lay disciple Fang Shiyu (Ji Tiansheng) (played by Li Ruotong) and his uncle, Master Zhenneng, were hiding from Qing soldiers in the desert, and met Doudou (played by Li Ruotong), a good prostitute. The three met in troubled times, and Fang Shiyu fell in love with Doudou at first sight. The Qing soldiers surrounded the three people and they died tragically. Shiyu and Doudou were taken back to Honglian Temple. Honglian Temple, under the control of the Shen Gong (played by Huang Jinjiang), forced many Shaolin disciples into slavery. The former Shaolin lay disciple Hong Xiguan surrendered to the Shen Gong as the foreman and fought with Fang Shiyu. Fang Shiyu was plotted by the Shen Gong and was dying. There are many institutions in Honglian Temple, and Shaolin disciples often die while working. Doudou, who was accepted as the concubine by the god, begged for Fang Shiyu's life. A group of Shaolin disciples are determined to break out of the Red Lotus Temple and return to freedom...
