Last Days in the Desert

"Last Days in the Desert" tells the story of Jesus, played by Ewan McGregor, who fasted in the desert for 40 days and regained his humanity after being bewitched by demons. The film is not derived from the Bible, but a story imagined by the film's director and screenwriter Rodrigo Garcia. It is worth mentioning that Rodrigo Garcia is the son of the late literary giant García Márquez, the author of "One Hundred Years of Solitude", and he once directed the well-received film "The Male and Female".
