Mickey (Billy Crystal) ) worked in the advertising department of a radio station. Until the age of thirty-nine, Mickey thought he had a perfect and happy life. However, after that, he began to go downhill. In addition to reaching a bottleneck in his career, his heart gradually began to lose its sense of security, becoming as desolate as a desert. Phil (Daniel Stern) is Mickey's best friend. He has lived under the oppression of his powerful wife and father-in-law all year round, which makes him very introverted and depressed. One day, a young girl suddenly appeared next to Phil and claimed that she was pregnant with his child. Ed (Bruno Kirby) has reached middle age, but the trauma in his childhood made him lose trust in relationships, and he still lingers among the flowers, unwilling to settle down. These three men embarked on a ridiculous journey of fun in order to celebrate Mickey's thirty-ninth birthday.
