The little boy Markey (voiced by Max Renaudin) and his family were kidnapped by hunters and used as slaves to be sold to France. Markie took advantage of the hunter's sleep to secretly break free from the handcuffs and start his escape. On the road / he met the giraffe "Zarafa" (voiced by Déborah François). Unfortunately / the hunter followed the footprints and killed "Zarafa"'s mother. Markie promised that "Zarafa's" mother would take good care of him. At the critical moment / the desert prince Hansen (voiced by Simon Abkarian) stepped forward / and the hunter was driven away. Hansen took "Zarafa" and prepared to return to his kingdom. Markie kept his promise and followed Hansen. After returning to the kingdom / Hansen was ordered to take "Zarafa" to France and present it to the French king / asking them to send troops to assist them.
