The Story of the Heike: The Dog King

Inu King (voiced by Avu-chan), the son of an alien, was born in a theater troupe in Kyoto, Muromachi. He was alienated by the people around him and wore a gourd mask that covered his face. One day, the Dog King met Youyu (voiced by Mirai Moriyama), a young pipa master who was blinded by a curse. Youyu played the strings of the pipa while the Dog King stepped and sang. In an instant, a world with only two people breathing and only two people unfolded. The dog king enjoys his heroic destiny and carves out his life with powerful dance, while the friend fish beside him explores the truth of the curse, plays the pipa and resonates with the other world. The two of them became partners who survived in troubled times, and each other's talents were showcased, making people crazy as unique entertainers. And at the top, something is waiting for the two of them... The film is adapted from the novel "The Tale of the Heike: The Dog King Scroll" by Hiodeo Furukawa.
