Wild Girl

The story is set in the American West in the mid-19th century, describing the horse-drawn carriage team of the United States' westward expansion in 1863. Martha's family was so poor that they only had a few necessities on the carriage. Martha has been interested in horseback riding and adventure since she was a child. She is out of tune with the girls, and at the same time she is laughed at by boys for practicing manual labor. Martha's father is seriously injured while training a horse, and she must take on the responsibility of driving the family's carriage and caring for the horses. Being bullied for fighting with boys, Martha cut her hair short and put on trousers and decided to compete with the boys. Unexpectedly, the motorcade was stolen. Everyone was angry and concluded that this rebellious little girl was the cause of the thief and disaster. Martha deduces that the thief will not go too far. In order to clear up the misunderstanding, she sets out on horseback alone and embarks on an adventurous journey in the appearance of a boy. On this side, the pioneer convoy is about to pass through the most dangerous no-man's land. No one has ever left this area alive. They are in urgent need of guides who are familiar with the terrain. What Martha doesn't know yet is that the skills she has honed during the dangerous journey will be tested even more in the future.
